Big Buck: 8/29/12 This has been my son Stephen and I 2nd hunt at the Spearhead. (2010, both got Bucks on 2nd day) 3rd morning I was on stand when at 8AM this buck came in alone and was nervous. Stood broadside, danced around and then left. Soon he came back, bobbed his head & drank at 20 yds. Liver shot and severed the vena cava.
This has been a great hunt with a fine group - The Moores are great hosts - David, Keith, Elaine, & Frank. Shirley kept us fed in good order and Leo keeps all colorful!!
