McGill Seep: 8/31/12 I've enjoyed every blind I've been in on the Spearhead, but sitting at the "Seep" at sunrise is magical.
I was fortunate to have two tags and scored my first buck with my Dad at Big Buck. My goal was to try to be more selective with the second buck. Keith and Dave worked hard to put me in a position to do so.
This buck came in at 8:15am covered in does, so no shot. He reappeared at 1:30 with only a frontal shot - no good. I watched him run other bucks off the water hole. Finally he came back with does to drink at 2pm.
Third times a charm :-)
