Our rifle hunts start Oct 1. We drive to the area to be hunted and after glassing a suitable trophy we then stalk the game on foot. We prefer shots under 200 yards, but that is not always possible, so be familiar with your gun and know your capabilities.

Bow hunting for Antelope starts in late August, deer and elk starts September 1st. The antelope hunting is from permanent blinds by water holes, with shots of 12-20 yards. The deer hunting is from blinds and stalking. We hunt creek bottoms, side draws, and the “Pine Ridge”, an area with lots of pine trees and natural cover. Elk hunting is from stands, stalking and bugling.

Wyoming Weather is unpredictable, you should prepare for anything from snow to 90 degrees. Usually August through October provides good hunting weather.

A deposit is required to book a hunt, with balance due upon arrival (No personal checks). Deposit will be refunded if unsuccessful in drawing tags.

All hunts include lodging in our comfortable, bunkhouse complex, guide service, home cooked meals, and lots of good western hospitality. 

You provide your license, hunting equipment, and personal gear and transportation to and from the ranch. We have a walk-in cooler and a chest freezer for those that want to process their own game meat, or we will take game to a processing facility for you. Expect to pay approximately $120 per animal at the processor.

Wyoming is on a computer drawing system for your license. Applications for Elk have to be submitted in January. Filing dates for Deer and Antelope are January 1 thru March 15. If you missed the application deadline, leftover licenses for deer or antelope are normally available for purchase after the initial drawing. We plan on having a 100% draw for antelope and deer tags, and expect about a 20% chance of drawing an elk tag..

• Stand Hunt is limited to hunting from either a ground blind or a tree stand. 

All hunts (except on your own) include meals and lodging. Guided hunts will include one guide per two hunters. Other guided hunts will include one guide per two hunters. No guide will be with you while on stand, or in a blind, but we will provide transportation to & from blind, game retrieval, and monitoring of your needs.
